Camp 1 -Camp 2 route

Camp 1 -Camp 2 route

Difficulty Level: Muztagh Ata is Most Popular 7000m easiest peak in the world to climb by being Technically not difficult and good for not very competent mountaineers, you can just walk up all the way to the summit, most difficult part is from camp one to camp two that you will take the zig zag track and facing the two crevasses on the way, rest of the way is just a trekking,

Other difficulties are bad weather ,thick snow ,some times it snows in high camps very thick like one miter or half deep, it makes it very difficult to walk on that fresh snow even with crampons ,so you need to wait day or two until the snow hard enough to walk on it ,

Climbing History: First tries to climb up Muztagh-Ata were made in 1894 by Swedish geographic Sven Hedin from the West. In two his attempts he reached the same altitude of 6300 m. In 1947 famous British climbers E. Shipton and H. Tilman together with sirdar Gyalzen Sherpa could arrive to the summit dome at some 7000 m. The first historic ascent of the Muztagh-Ata summit had been realized in 1956 by Soviet-China expedition led by Eugene Beletsky following the route west face outlined by Hedin.

skiing in Muztagh Ata

Ski Expeditions : Muztagh Ata is perfect mountain to ski after ascent , you can ski down from summit to the 6000m, then you can not ski from 6000m to 5650m because of zig zag track with crevasse ,from 5650m to 4800m you can ski,

Porter service: there are porters and donkeys arranged by our company to different camps, your luggage can be portaged until camp 3 with support of our porters ,
